PROFILE:

Vince Paradero was born in Okinawa , Japan . His father and uncle taught him that photographs were important because they were history, a link to one's family and ancestors.  Vince's photograhic education began at a very young age and he  continued to study art and photography at Pierce College , which is where he  met his wife Mardjie.
After graduating, Vince worked as a black and white photo printer. He started working for Frank Schulz in 1982 at Frank’s Custom Lab. Frank eventually retired and Vince and his wife Mardjie took over the business in 1989. Frank’s Custom Lab continues to print archival photographs for a variety of photographers and also for several museums, the most recent being the archival prints of Jazz Musicians for the Clark County Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vince is a founding member of 4260 Black & White Photographers Guild.
