PROFILE:

Mark is a screenwriter, producer and director, with a film degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.    His debut feature documentary, OVERNIGHT, premiered at The 2004 Sundance Film Festival and was released in theatres internationally.

Photography has been a passion of his for twenty-years now, inspired by living in New York City at age 18.  He’s a “documentary shooter”, attempting to capture unique images on the fly by using mainly natural light, discovering the artistic beauty and integrity in everyday life.  As a child, Mark was absorbed in the fine arts, focused in drawing, painting & sculpture.  His photographs are a direct descendent.  He’s fascinated by the timelessness of an image, and how no other individual is seeing his specific point of view at a given space and time.  His photographs are an extension of his inner being, the unspoken word.
