PROFILE:

"When I was in college I fell in love with the process of capturing a single moment on film, and then developing that image in the darkroom. I have studied with Peter Reiss, Bobbie Lane , Keith Carter , Joyce Tenneyson, Maggie Stieber and many other inspiring teachers. In 2000 I went on an American Photo Magazine Photo Trek to Morocco with mentors Wolfgang Kaheler and Jill Enfield. I shoot mainly black and white film and sometimes hand-color my photographs."

Ellen has had two shows at A Studio Gallery in Los Angeles, California; one titled 'Travels' and the other a photo documentary of Runyon Canyon . Ellen frequentlyalso participates in group shows at the gallery.
Ellen is a charter member of 4260 Black & White Photographers Guild.
